ABOUT

Hi There,

I am Qing Qing Jiang. I am a native of Yunnan Province of China.

If you know the Mandarin Chinese language, maybe you can try reading my name: 江清清. Jiang (江) is my surname. Qing Qing (清清) is my given name.

I started this website to answer China/Chinese related questions that are being asked on Quora.

Well, China is an emerging power. It’s totally understandable that a greater number of people are interested in discovering China.

You might be wondering why wouldn’t I directly answer the questions on Quora?

The trouble with Quora is that I need to be politically correct. I might just express my honest opinions; however, someone out there gets offended every now and then. Those keyboard warriors would report my answer, and then Quora moderators would delete my answers.

This is totally stupid!

It takes a considerable amount of effort to produce good answers. I just don’t want some random bot dictating me what/how to write. Further, I have been passionate for content writing and wish to share my personal opinions to the general public. Not to mention, I feel sad about the problems between China and the western world.

Going forward, I will try to answer as many questions on Quora as possible. The answers on Quora will be the politically correct ones, something that doesn’t get deleted by the Quora moderation team.

Then, with most of my Quora answers, I will strive to provide additional information via this website. The link to supplementary information on the answers on Quora will be available in the corresponding Quora answers/comments.

This is the power of blogging. I love blogging and wish to write without being worried about Quora moderation.

If you have any questions about China or Chinese language, just invite me to answer on Quora. Or maybe drop a comment on this site?

Looking forward to interact with the global community.

  1. Hello Qing,
It’s admirable how you’re so enthusiastic about representing your culture and teaching people about it. I’m a female undergraduate student from Turkey, studying Translation and Interpretation. I’m doing some research and writing about the Chinese culture for a course and for the midterm I need to interview someone from the culture. Would you be interested in it? I thought that someone like you who is interested in teaching people about her culture would be the best candidate:) If you want to, I could talk about my culture as well, we could exchange experiences, it would be both enlightening and delightful. Also, given that you’re also working on languages, I think we could get along. If you’re interested, please hit me up and I’ll share the details with you and you could decide later.
    Take care.
