China is very much safe.

Frankly, China is the safest you can ever get. Make no mistake, the crimes are rare in China. You can walk alone in the night, even in the countryside.
It has been an incredible job of our government to make a massive country of 1.4Bn so safe. Certainly, it’s not an easy job. Let’s thank the government (of China) for their diligent efforts.
Look what’s going on around the world. Even the tiny countries, like Haiti, are facing tremendous violence, including heinous crimes. Women can’t dare to go out alone in the night.

However, in China, women have equal social status with men. In fact, we have already moved beyond those debates of equality. Chinese women decide their own fates. They can travel alone. They can choose whatever major they want. They can literally do whatever they want.
Yes, China is incredibly safe.
The only other place I have ever felt so safe is Singapore.
